How to colour Your Hair naturally sans chemicals

img2Henna is one of the most widely used natural colouring ingredients there is. The red orange pigment left by the leaves of the Heena plant has been used for centuries to cover grey hair and to add subtle exotic shading to brunettes.
You can apply the Henna Hair dye on its own if you are bold enough to carry the bright orange or red hues it deposits or you can create an interesting palette of colours should you choose to mix and match it with any of the plethora of natural herbs and teas available. Just add, tea, coffee, beet juice or carrot juice depending on the desired shade.  Always mix in a tbsp of olive oil and a capsule Vitamin e  to your Henna mix to prevent its drying after effects.
