Keo Karpin was re-launched in a convenient, unbreakable pack and thus differentiated itself further from competition

Dey’s Medical

In 1941, Mr. B.N. Dey started a small retail medical store in Calcutta from a mere urge to serve the society. Through his vision, determination, honesty and strength of character, he soon gained the confidence of medical stalwarts, which amplified further when Dey’s Medical ensured a steady supply of life-saving drugs and appliances for both the ailing troops as well as general countrymen during the Second World War.

Keo Karpin Hair Oil was his brainchild, and it was due to his vision that Dey’s Medical went on to pioneer the light hair oil category. Apart from being the founder of the Dey’s Medical Group of Companies, he also served as Managing Director till he left for his heavenly abode in the year 1989, nurturing the business to reach dizzying heights.

Right from our inception in 1941, we have always placed great emphasis on the quality of our products. We have been able to come this far by maintaining a strict vigilance on the various processes within our organization be it procurement, manufacturing, distribution or salesmanship. This in turn has allowed us to satisfy our customers to the utmost and helped us to create a loyal consumer base over the years.

Although hair oil itself is a traditional product by nature, we’re confident that we’ll always be recognized as the pioneers of the light hair oil category. And, we are committed to keep improving our current set of products as well as developing new products, so that we are always abreast of evolving consumer needs. 75 years have come and gone, but our customers have always been satisfied.”
