Cause 1 – Dry Skin Dandruff & Oily Scalp Dandruff
1. Dry Skin Dandruff:
During winters our skin and scalp tends to get dry due to lack of moisture. We also tend to use warm water to wash ourselves further drying our skin and scalp, this can lead to white flaky dandruff.
2. Oily Scalp Dandruff:
Some people have natural tendency towards oily skin and scalp which can cause a granular sandy type of dandruff due to sebum build up. But keeping the scalp unclean can also lead to a build up of grime and oil which lead to itchy dandruff conditions and later hair fall. Washing your hair too much can also trigger the sebaceous glands in our scalp to produce more oil to counteract the dryness.
